Warm 106.9 2014 “Show Us Your Love” Photo Contest Official Rules
1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. In order to enter, from 12:00 AM PT (Pacific Time) on February 14, 2014 through 11:59 PM PT on February 19th, 2014, go to the www.warm1069.com website, click on the contest icon, click on "Show Us Your Love Photo Contest" icon, complete the entry form and submit your photograph. Warm 106.9 is not responsible for problems accessing the website or completing the entry, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the entry, or any other problems which might or might not result from this contest. Any person submitting more than one entry may be disqualified at Warm 106.9’s sole discretion.
Warm 106.9 in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any submission if such submission contains illegal, indecent or otherwise offensive material, submissions that are not authorized by the candidate or if such act contains material whose content is deemed, at the sole discretion of Warm 106.9 to be unsuitable for the public or broadcast on Warm 106.9/KRWM (i.e. pictures must be clean and no nudity.) Photos must fit the theme of this contest. Photo submissions must be a photo of any living being and may not include more than one image per person (no collages). No text or logos will be permitted.
2. HOW TO WIN: Enter as explained in Paragraph 1 above.
a. Public Voting. All entries received pursuant to Paragraph 1 above will be posted on www.warm1069.com from 12:00 AM PT February 20, 2014, through 11:59 PM PT February 23, 2014 ("Public Voting Period"). Listeners may log on to www.warm1069.com and vote for their favorite entry from among all entries posted. Each registered voter is allowed to vote up to ten (10) times per day during the Public Voting Period. The one (1) candidate that receives the most votes during this voting period will be selected as the 1st Place Winner of WARM 106.9 SHOW US YOUR LOVE PHOTO CONTEST (subject to verification of eligibility). The one (1) candidate that receives the 2nd most votes during this voting period will be selected as the 2nd Place Winner of WARM 106.9 SHOW US YOUR LOVE PHOTO CONTEST (subject to verification of eligibility). The one (1) candidate that receives the 3rd most votes during this voting period will be selected as the 3rd Place Winner of WARM 106.9 SHOW US YOUR LOVE PHOTO CONTEST (subject to verification of eligibility). In the event that there is a tie for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd position, then the station entities will select the candidate to continue on. If a candidate is ineligible, the prize will go to eligible candidate with the next highest number of votes (IE: If first place candidate is deemed ineligible then the second place candidate will become the first place candidate and third place candidate will move to second place and so on). On Friday, February 24, 2014 at TIME TBA - the winners of WARM SHOW US YOUR LOVE PHOTO CONTEST will be announced on-air and/or posted on warm1069.com.
Winners need not listen nor be present to win. All winners will also be contacted by the Contest Entities via telephone no later than February 27, 2014.
3. CLAIMING A PRIZE: The winner must claim his/her prize in person at Warm 106.9 studios at 3650 131st Avenue S.E., Suite #550, Bellevue, WA, 98006, during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) within thirty (30) days of the day he or she wins to verify that he/she is the qualified winner. Failure to comply with this deadline shall be deemed to be the winner’s forfeiture of his or her right to claim the grand prize. Each winner must prove he or she is a qualified winner by presenting identification acceptable to Warm 106.9 (e.g., state driver’s license; state issued identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social security card and photo identification and address verification). If a winner cannot prove he or she is a qualified winner, the prize will not be awarded. All unclaimed prizes remain the property of Warm 106.9. Prizes will not be issued to winners unless a social security number is presented.
4. PRIZE: There will be three winners in this contest.
The 1st place winner will receive the following:
a. A $1,000 Woodmark Hotel Gift Certificate.
The 2nd and 3rd place winners will each receive the following:
a. A $100 Gene Juarez gift card.
The prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 5 of these rules. A 1099 form will be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities, and by signing the Prize Release, the winner accepts the prize and even if the winner does not use the prize he/she will be responsible for the applicable taxes.
There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Warm 106.9 may, at their sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. Prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed as described above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply. Winner will look solely to the manufacture and/or the end supplier for goods and services for all warranty and liability claims.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Individuals must be 18 years or older and residents of Washington and reside within the Warm 106.9 regular listening/broadcast area to be eligible to enter or win. In order to be eligible to win a prize in this Contest, you cannot have won any prize from WARM 106.9 of any value within 30 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this Contest; or a prize or combination of prizes with a total stated value of $500.00 or more from WARM 106.9 within 180 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this Contest. These restrictions apply even if you reject the prize. This waiting period of 30 or 180 days does NOT apply to movie premiere events; winning movie premiere event tickets does not count toward any prize waiting period. Employees of Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC, or Hubbard Radio, LLC, UPICKEM or any radio or television station or media outlet, or their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter or win. Anyone participating in this contest or claiming a prize in this contest in violation of these rules will be disqualified from winning a prize in this contest and from participating in any Warm 106.9 contest for a period of one year.
By entering this contest, each entrant is certifying that he or she is not a professional photographer, that the submitted photograph is his or her own original work, and that he or she has the right to allow the publication of the photograph without restriction, and that Warm 106.9’s use of the photograph will not infringe the rights of any third parties (e.g., copyrights, rights of publicity, etc.).
6. RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: The winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility prior to awarding of the prize. The winner (a) agrees to release Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC, Hubbard Radio, LLC, and UPICKEM (including their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from any and all liability, claims, damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the awarding or acceptance of the prize(s), and/or misuse of any prize, or to participation in the contest or in prize-related activities, including any travel related thereto, and (b) consents to the use by Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC (Warm 106.9) for promotional purposes, of his or her likeness, contest entry (which will be posted on the Warm 106.9 website), voice and/or address (city/state) without any additional compensation. By participating in this contest, each participant agrees to the application of these official rules.
7. WINNER LIST: For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope before March 15, 2014, to Winners List, Warm 106.9, Show Us Your Love Photo Contest, 3650 131st Avenue S.E., Suite #550, Bellevue, WA 98006.
8. MISCELLANEOUS: Decisions of Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC (Warm 106.9) concerning any and all matters with respect to this contest shall be final. Contest void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Warm 106.9 reserves the right to change the time(s) at which announcements are made, or to cancel, postpone or reschedule any or all such announcements. Warm 106.9 is not responsible for any expenses or damages relating to such schedule changes. Warm 106.9 reserves the right to change the prize values at any time. Warm 106.9 is not responsible for printing errors in the contest materials or these rules. Warm 106.9 is not responsible for delays attributable to webcasting, telephone line unavailability, busy signals on the contest line, operator interference, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the phone call, telephone system malfunctions, or any other telephone problems which may or may not result from this contest.
